read my mind. After the first episode I listened to I sat in the train station thinking about what other drugs would be interesting and Ozempic was the first to come to mind. I also thought about Norepinephrine Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors, since I take an NSRI (Venlafaxine) and spent many years trying different SSRIs (none of which worked well) before anyone thought to try an NSRI and it’s been pretty darn effective over the past four years of my life. I’ve even talked to a psychiatrist who had never heard of NSRIs. Could be interesting and maybe even really helpful for some people out there struggling to find a helpful antidepressant.
